These days, communities can be comprised of many different groups and are not necessarily geographically connected. Are you on Facebook? You probably see yourself as part of a community or subset of users sharing some commonality.
People who live or work in Camden and it’s surrounding region are a community within this geographic region. The community here in this area has been around for quite a while, that is to say, around 200 years.
What is this website? Some people think that modern social media creates communities. This is an incorrect viewpoint. Communities already exist. Portals like this one are being designed to assist the existing community in self organisation.
It is my hope that this site will evolve according to the will of the people who use it. Which reminds me, Thank you for visiting here!

We need contributors, editors, and volunteers to: add content, contribute to discussion, make criticisms, submit complimentary links and generally assist this space to grow and become useful.
It does not matter if you are Internet savvy, or how old or young you are .
Are you a local business? Do you have specials or just want to tell the community about it.?
Local community groups, organisations, sporting clubs. Anyone for that matter is welcome to contribute.
Do you have any issues that need to be reported on or discussed. i.e.
Are you concerned about the performance of our elected officials in the Wollondilly or Camden Councils.
Are there issues concerning the NSW State or Federal Government?
This is the perfect vehicle for any and all community action.
