I guess it is one rule for the streets that are travelled on by visitors and the ones that only the rate payers see.
Why did the trees along Menangle road from St John’s to the hospital look as if they were manicured. Murrundah Ave , Peter Ave, Old Hume Highway and lots of other street around Camden that are not in plain sight had trees that were literally butchered! in the space of a couple of minutes a intergral energy contractor with a chainsaw can take a half ecent tree and make a horrible ugly thing out of it.
If the workers would spend one minute just to look and apply some common sense the result would be much better.
I am not against the trees being pruned. I watched as electricity wires had arcs of sparks flying everywhere when they made contact with an overgrown tree in a storm last Spring. An experience I found a little scary.
And where is the council? surely they have noticed this butchery. I complained last year when the same thing happened and received no response. I doubt I will get a response this year. No one really cares except the person who has a house in front of one of these monstrosities.
Anyone else have a tree horror story? post your opinion.
